Okay, I’m lying, I don’t have any frequently asked questions. Do you want to ask me something? If so, drop a line at thedrunksquash[at]gmail[dot]com.
Okay, and here’s some info:
I’m a grad student who likes to eat yummy stuff and decorate my life on the cheap. I really value handmade and homegrown items, and I try to support others of my ilk. I love to skip around between soldering, knitting, jewelry-creation, and anything else that catches my fancy. I also love to surf food blogs and create delicious things in the kitchen.
I like in Oakland with my hamster and my boyfriend and LOVE this active, radical, loving community.
Oh, also, a note:
This blog used to be primarily food related, but I have found that my food pictures are subpar (and when I cook it’s so hard to remember to take pictures anyway) and I am also really into sharing my craft projects with the wooorld, so it has evolved into a mishmash. And I love it this way.

Bees!!! I think I was on the right track with my bees comment on another post. If you read them out of order, this is probably confusing. Sorry.
I love your bangs.
Is it rude to ask how much you spend on the CSA groceries? How about groceries over all?
It’s so rude, but I’ll tell you anyway, you rude terrible person!
Juuust kidding. My CSA box costs $17 per box, but I only get it every other week, so it averages out to $8.50 per week. Then on other groceries it really depends on what I need to stock up on (eggs, milk, rice, hummus, spices, baking goods like flour), it can be anywhere from nothing extra (as in I’m pretty well stocked from a previous week) to $20-something if I’m being extravagant. Oh, and well, then alcohol comes into the mix…
